Been busy with work but finally got everything back. When I was removing the lower intake I noticed one of the bolts had a nut threaded onto it. I wasn’t sure why and kept on with the job. As I was putting everything back I noticed it was sometimes difficult to get the bolt holes to line up with the holes in the valley gasket. It took a bit of adjusting but I got every bolt lined up... sort of. As it turns out the the previous person cross threaded one of the holes and try as I might the bolt won’t thread in straight. Now I know why that nut was threaded on..... 😒
Next on the to do list:
New battery terminals- got stuck at a gas station today when the disco wouldn’t start. After fiddling around with the worn-out battery terminals it finally started. I’m trying to decide between Mil-Spec battery terminals or car audio battery terminals. Any suggestions?
I crimped heavy duty eyelets on my cables and converted to studs. Easier to add accessories works great. You need a large crimper for the eyelets tho. Or use a portable vice with a notch.
