Wait a minute...you have a chair in your garage? There's no time for sitting around, when you own a Dll...lol.

Both PS pumps l changed recently were leaking out of the back plate, gasket had given up the ship. I'm going to make a new gasket and keep one for a spare or buy another Dll to disassemble for parts...okay...going with the first idea.

Cowl installed, better condition A pillar, better condition front rain gutter corners, lots of silicone. Hopefully better wiper arm tightened like crazy. Waiting now for all the new AC parts to show up. And the in-line stat kit.

In-line stat in. First drive with 180* stat dropped my temps by 15*.

Picked up a brand new BFG ko2 off of a jeep person for my spare. It’s on an 18” rim but the of OD is the same as my 285/75s. Price was too good to pass on

All new ac components installed. Need to have it charged up.

Air conditioning is working great, been amazing during the super hot days.
got to use my truck for my work today as my company car was at the garage for service, thought it would be good to check the mpg. I managed 270 miles on 20.6 gallons so 13.1 mpg. I’m pretty happy with that, that’s on 33s with full loaded tools and recovery gear, roof rack and all. Ac on probably half the time, split city and rural driving, no highway.
I finally junked my last parts truck, my buddy wanted it off his farm, scrap price was excellent, pulled the axles off for spares.

Got 500.00 Canadian dollars without axles and wheels. Picked up.

Found a shot boot, ordered new complete front axles I found for a great deal. Thinking about doing wheel bearings and ball joints while I’m there. Not sure yet as mine seem ok at the moment.

Swapped my 285s for some 265s I got a deal on for daily driving, mileage seems the same but acceleration is better

Got a new pup for rovering around.
