If the weather is better tomorrow I’ll get a piano hinge for the longer compartment, handles for the drawers, sand and paint it. Not sure if I should bedliner it black? Maybe tan? Not sure about maybe carpeting the top and inside of the drawers?
I think I’d prefer a brighter colour in the drawers so I can see stuff better.

Looking good. One suggestion though...put some vertical 2X2 pieces of wood in the corners of the handle end of those drawers, then screw into them...not the ends of the plywood. Also gluing them into place before screwing them. It will be much stronger. Once you get those drawers loaded up with stuff, the constant pulling in and out will eventually loosen those screws holding the end caps.

What are your plans for securing it to the floor?

Brian.

Wait...you have a helper. That's not fair!...lol.

Yep, weather sure can dictate the degree of accomplishment. However, at least you aren't letting it defeat you.

Turned out nice. Plans for tying it down?

It’s been 3 weeks since I made the deal but it was finally delivered. The donor 4.6 is finally here. It’s almost a shame to rip this autobiography apart for parts

Welded inside and out. 😊

My shackle mounts are finally finished too. A little grinding and some paint and I’ll get them mounted up

I pulled the bumper back off, mounted up the shackles, and repainted

while it was out I cleaned it up, changed the temp sensor, and reassembled with antisieze and stainless hardware where I could. I also redid all the battery connections, lots of antioxidant too.
