I made a list of all the priority maintenance and ordered parts needing completition prior to my UK MOT inspection in February: - replace leaking brake master cylinder - replace failed LF & RR window regulators - replace burned out fog light - slow leak LR tyre
I needed an updated diagnostic tester for other car/truck models. After watching Mike’s review of the TOPDON AD600S diagnostic tester on YouTube I bought one off of eBay for £145 ($189).
Today I tried to sort out my squishy brakes by bleeding rear to front then front to rear with the Nanocom and with out it. I used a half a liter of brake fluid in the process while getting some air out of the brake lines but the brake pedal still goes to the floor. The brake booster is holding a vacuum so that seems to be working correctly. I’m still loosing brake pressure and have the Two Amigos.
More troubleshooting in work.
I also took part my windscreen wiper motor assembly and regreased all the linkages. It’s a timely task but honestly a simple process. The concave washers on the linkages I bent more inwards to take up more slack in the linkages. All 3 linkages took me 2 hours to completely clean and regrease to total reinstall.

How was the process of bleeding after swapping the master out? I has a suspicion my booster might be on its last legs are it gets soft when at a stop now. Going to test the vacuum lines first to make sure there's not a leak somewhere. Kind of dreading opening up the brake system at the master to get to the booster though so I'm kind of half hoping it's simply a vacuum issue.
@andino It’s easy to bleed the brake lines if you have second person pumping the brakes. Even better if you have a diagnostic tester that can do an ABS modulator bleed and power bleed function.

I finally did a cheap fix on my broken rear reg plate light.
The connectors work well and is all held together now after adding the black sealant but I think I’ll get the sealed LED lights from eBay.
Other things I’ve bought for the Disco:
3D window switch trim from eBay since the original trim was all broken up…
Lastly, I finalized on a 2 car garage for my Disco! Luckily a 4-bed house came with the garage purchase for my wife.
