With a little luck I may have 16" wheels tomorrow. Found a set of style 3's nearby. Might also see about picking up the tc shifter assembly out of it and the roof bars it's a 04.

Well I did score a set of the full length roof bars for it. Tonight though it is going for its first tow truck ride under my ownership the water pump nearly failed it will wobble back and forth in a 1 inch arc in any direction. Luckily I caught it before it let go. So now I'm just freezing my *** off at a gas station waiting for the tow truck.

No overheat though thankfully. Had my torque app on and it was running a steady 194.

Man I love rovers

You'll pay for that thing if it's the last thing land rover does.

Yeah thinking I'm going to do the fan clutch while I'm in there. Maybe the fan as well.

Do these fans go to crap like the ones on the old 3.9?

Definitely a new belt since I cut the old one off to move the disco to a parking spot instead of blocking the gas pump.

They do seem to go to crap. In my fan explosion thread a few people mentioned their fans were cracked or exploded etc.

I got a hagen fan clutch from amazon that seems to work well and was $56.

I also bought a new, but non-landrover fan from rovers north.

You probably need the thick glasses because of all the shroud rubbing. Just like dad always said!
