Well I decided to install a touch screen Pioneer AppRadio last night. Went fine and dandy(sounds great) till this morning on my way to work.... I now get a speaker system buzz with the engine on! Slightly rises with revs but not noticeable with volume up. I even went above and beyond to solder in a new ground to the vehicle body by the pedals. Yes I zipped off the paint for a good ground contact and used a self tapping bolt. I soldered in the factory grounds to the ground I made. I even tapped into the 2 grounds at the main amp for good measure. I'm gonna stop by the store today and buy an in line filter for the power line at the head unit to see if that works. Does anyone know if they sell ground loop isolators without RCA jacks(last resort)? I'm running the stock amps and as far as I know there are no RCA jacks on it. Like I said, system sounds phenomenal with key off. All speakers work (replaced hatch subs), fade/balance is as such and I am positive my grounds are squared away. Any suggestions?

BTW, I'm on tank 3 fill up and averaging 16.8 MPG's with my stroker.

Well today I installed new plugs/wires (mid tier oem quality Oreillys) and changed my oil/filter (seafoam flushed it first). Also added a gasket between the y-pipe and muffler flange (found it at autozone). Zero exhaust leaks now.

I decided to do all this due to me cutting out both cats (spaced the rear O2 sensors). One of the cats took a shyt on me last week.. Anyways, kept on getting this pesky P420 code since then and it would clear but come back the next day. A few days ago I Performed an induction cleaning, added Lucas fuel cleaner to gas tank and checked my plugs. Plugs looked pretty dirty (only 3 months old) and originally gapped at .038. Figured the induction cleaning plus cat deletion fouled them up some. I gapped new plugs at .033 before installing them and 7mm wires. Used 6 quarts of mobile delvac 15/40 (was on special for $11) and the bigger wix oil filter. I also added one quart of marvels mystery oil to the crankcase (makes my engine run quieter).

She fired right up with no issues! No pending P420 code (showed pending before clearing) and it doesn't smell like a bunch of unburned fuel anymore coming out the exhaust. Ran her around for a few hours running errands and driving to the gun range. Still no code or no code pending. She even feels better and more responsive than she ever felt before. It's amazing what a fresh set of spark plugs and wires will do along with a proper gapping. My guess is that she didn't like being gapped at .038 plus old spark plug wires and small exhaust leaks added to the issue.

I'm taking her out to the mountains to shoot this weekend. Gonna wheel her some and check my rear fender cuts to make sure I don't rub anymore. Pretty pleased with my Disco War Machine this far

Continued on with my custom made roof rack. I'm using 1 inch square tubing that started off as a lumber/truck rack for a small truck. I got if for free from the base recycling center. Cut the legs off, used those pieces to add width to it and to also make the rounded corners. It's 7' long X 4'1" wide. I added aluminum slugs(light weight) where I had to make it wider. All tacked in now, just gotta make the light bar for up front, gutter mounts and add some hi-lift mounts plus weld some eyes for strapping shyt down with. Luckily it was already powder coated so I'll just have to touch up the spot I grinded down to weld.
