So, you say only clear water came out...does this mean you think it was the sender all along? Which would make sense, since you had shot it with IR gun and got temps much lower than gage reading/monitor.

Anyhow, good news. Hope she starts treating you better from here on out.

Brian.

Give it some time. Somedays, l like my bumper...and other days l don't. At the moment, l'm okay with it and it's turned out okay, in my opinion.

I'd probably grab a spray bomb and black out the bumper pieces. Actually, l like the original bumpers with that brush guard...just wish the bumper itself...were more durable.

I have that same nudge bar, but with the decal in place. I have liked it and figure its a pretty good plastic bumper cover protector.

It’s great until it gets pushed into your hood... They pivot when pushed on/hit and do more harm than good sadly.

I had one on several D1/D2’s and I finally gave up on em when they rusted or caused damage to the hood when the g/f back in the day hit something.

Yes it does pivot... I thought I had it really tight and then a friend who is a 6'6" body builder grabbed it and wiggled it around like a tinker toy... Have not had any close calls with the hood yet though.

Hmmm.. well ok then

Certainly don’t want to deal with body damage if this tinker toy of a bar gets hit.. Ugh. I’m planning on making a new steal bumper in the next few weeks hopefully so I might just sell this bar.

i shall spend a stupid amount of time staring at the front and ponder what to do

Replace the bolts with 1/2 Grade 8 vs the OEM bolts, for starters if you wanna keep it, then aim it slightly more forward. In the event it gets pushed it might not fold all the way into the hood.

Although they look strong they're just hollow pipe, and I'd be surprised if it wasn't rusty inside of it. All of mine were and they were all from TX.
