OD mileage will be off with the oversized tires so that might be skewing that a little bit

True. Even if you knock it down to 325 miles, it’s almost 16mpg

Finally got around to doing some much needed maintenance to MagPie. Changed the oil, topped off Tcase and installed new rotoflex. The old one was toast from the looks of it

Yeah, that was looking kind of ugly. I'd save it as a spare though, since you do go wheeling.

Very true.. noted!

Still haven’t put the new HD bars on but I was happy to see that the ball joints have zerk fittings

It was pushing 100 yesterday and temps got up to 206 while sitting in stupid Denver traffic. It would settle down to 194ish while actually moving so that’s good I guess. Still need to flush the system, probably going to do the vinegar / water again.

Got the HD steering arms installed finally, but ran into a small snag.. One of the boots on the ball joints was already ripped Emailed the vendor to see what needs to happen for me to get a replacement... Had install them anyways since one of the ball joints was completely hosed so ripped boot or not, the steering arm was going in.

Wasn't to hard of a job, i feel like i struggled more getting the steering dampener off than getting the bars off..

Put a factory set of tie-rods and bar on my wife's 03 two years ago, from Atlantic British, and while under it last week...noticed both boots were torn all the way around. My tie-rod joints are non-greaseable...so...l'm going to drop them down and pack new grease in a new boot...and reassemble. Man, l'm getting so, sooooo tired of crappy aftermarket parts.
