The wiring diagrams are in the Rave CD. I have solved a lot of problems (and also created new ones) with that. There are specific troubleshooting procedures for a lot of parts of the wirings.

 

Arm & Hammer, I've removed my ford (lincoln) 16" two speed, as it drew 39amps on hi (5200cfm)

I installed (2) 12" with alum shroud I made. - 7amps/2000cfm, good except for traffic jams @ 100deg/F O.A. (then he goes to 215F. max)

A sheet metal shop can easily fab the (2) roof line transitions for you - it would take about 15min. ea - you supply material.

This is my latest , while working on my bumper , I tried grill from D1 on D2 , it fits , I will keep it there , I like it .This is before...

My bumper is not finished yet , run out of argon , so I concentrate on relocation of the windshield wiper reservoir . Original reservoir didn't fit really nice so I went in scrapyard in search of better fit.I found one from Suzuki sidekick would fit nice but I couldn't take it off , bolts were too rusted .Then I found one from Volvo , this one is bit bigger and it was tight fit.But I installer it.So far it works for me ....





...clears inertia button just fine.

 

I don't get it, whats the deal with moving the washer fluid resevour?

 

I think he had to to fit that man-bumper he put on his DII. Discoweb has a write-up about moving the washer reservior, I think UP does too.

 

Finished my aluminum bumper , all I can say is sweeet.





...my front under lamp apron was broken so I instaled one from D1 , does it fit ? No but I made it fit .This is before...

Things like weight, list of materials, plans, etc. etc. Lot of people would like to try to do one like yours. Maybe not in aluminium, because it is more difficult to weld, but in iron or steel.

Do you think it will give the same resistance as an iron bumper?

 

Was ill for a while but here I am.Decided to winterize my DD D2.Those roof racks were bothering me.When there is snow storm I had hard time to clean the roof of off the snow.We have law here in Quebec , if you drive with a snow on the roof = ticket .So instead to order ladder for the back door which would help in snow clean up , I decided to get rid of roof racks.When I dropped front half of the liner this is what I found....my downspout drain line on the passenger side was broken...

so repair is in order...I saved the roof windows from D1 I am rebuilding...here is the piece i need...

roof windows of D1 and D2 are interchangeable if anybody need to know....here is part of the D2 that I have to take out up side down...

broken piece taken out , on the left you can see D1 piece ready to go in...as you can see they are the same...



...caulked and installed...don't get me wrong , broken piece can be fixed with metal nipple inserted in the hole and caulked , but I have spare parts so i just changed them , I didn't throw away broken piece... you never know when somebody is going to need it.



...this is what is left of the roof racks...nothing what little bit of silicone caulking can't fix it...

That roof line is really clean. I like the look too, and with that man bumper that is a slick looking ride. Sorry to hear you were sick, glad to hear you are better. Now quit lolly gagging around and get to work on that sick looking DI project lol. Seriously though glad you are feeling better. I was wondering what happened as you haven't done an update in a while.
