That's OK, I just replaced the grant track bar on the wrangler, figured 30 minutes ? 2+ hours and I ended up burning off the axle end with cutting torch wtf

Lube those 4 bolts up well in advance with the ol'penetrating oil, Jeep used oxide coated bolts there....wasn't a good idea. If they do break, good thing you'll have gas tank down because that's a good time to weld in the fix! ;-)

(what's a man gotta do to get those smilies work around here.....?)

Well now.......

The ol'STD7 is running and steering pretty good for the last week, only quit on me once in the middle of a 60mph 3 way intersection.......that freaked me out. Been running the hi-test for the last 3 fill up's, seems to be helping a bit.

Rear sway bar is next, looking for poly bushings......to expensive out of Australia, have yet to turn them up thru vendor websites.......any clues?
I'd like to but a vowel for 300 Alex.........

Try lucky8 or rovers north for urathane, I bought the entire suspension kit and iirc rover north had best price at the time , don't recall there being sway bar bushings in the set, but I removed the bars a while back so....

Ya, been looking at those and others.........not much luck. (but thanks)

Ummm, $229.00 for a 30pcs bushing kit? BWAAAHAAAAAAA, my truck isn't the only thing on crack.......these people think we all strip for a living or something?

Think I'll stick to my ebay strategy......I think I'm up to 27 bucks to totally rebuild it there which includes all 6 bushings........The Aussie's want like 50 bucks for their (4) poly's.....I think they're a little too proud of them.....

Disconnects are easy enough to make, I'll keep the sway bars for now.

Debating to build my on fuel tank skid or purchase........probably going to rebuild my existing and be done with it.....

A few months ago I would have said buy it, and save the time but after a few months of making stuff for my conversion I'm beginning to see the light on making your own parts.

My aluminum gas tank skid was to cheap for me to bother making

If you lift the front sway goes bye bye, hits the drive shaft

I just installed the BritPart full polyurethane bushing kit. Got it from LRDIRECT.COM for about $130 shipped. So far so good.
