BWAAAHAAAAHAAAAAA.............Caught on to that did you now.....lol !!
It was a 'what if I' moment that I just went with...

Lowcoe........give 'Scouts a good listen, he has very good advice.

Disconnect battery, as well as place your ground clamp near your weld area, you don't want to be welding on one side of the truck & grounded to the other.

The 03 and 04 do have a ton of problems, but at least with an 04 you can get the consolation prize of a locking diff (Early D2s had the lock but no way to engage it, 03 didn't even have the lock at all).

If I was building a vehicle I wanted to keep a long time, I would consider an 04 with a Chevy swap. The 4.6L motor is terrible.

Detoured, I love the bumper.

This thread has delivered over and over. Keeps me while rover-less.

Glad you like the thread and thanks for liking the bumper, I'll be building more as time passes, time allows and the Super Model continues her rehab........

A smokey, stinky day in the land of KY today, guess we have like 11 ground/forest fires going on.......the county has a burn ban right now...ugg....promised my boy a bon fire tonight since he has tomorrow off.....I don't need any arson charges any time soon.......so I guess that's off.

Just another day in the land of KY..........

Here. Unfortunately I don't have a closer pic but I made a camel cut on the rear side of the front and rear wheel arches. Can hardly tell if I do say so myself. 265/75/16 tires on a 2" lift for reference.
