Well unfortunately I didn’t meet the time line as I was supposed to be on the road today for the Great divide with my friends and daughter. Pretty bummed about that but going to keep pushing to finish the 110 and be ready for the next adventure
got them bled out no leaks and an awesome pedal feel. Front brakes are Defender 90 4 piston calipers with Terrafirma drilled and slotted rotors, power stop pads and braided extended lines as well. Rear is 98 disco calipers, terrafirma drilled and slotted rotors and stainless steel braided line. Really happy with how they feel.
Nothing like the feel of good brakes. Had a guy locally that had a rear axle with disc brakes, thought long and hard about making the swap but time just isn't going to allow. Sorry to hear about missing your adventure.
@The Deputy That swap was probably one of the easiest upgrades I did. Only real thing to remember is the brake line T and the axle spring perches
Had a big day in the shop today with knocking fuel system, tires on it, plug wires, 95% of the coolant system done and it’s on the ground. Lots of stuff to button up
Actually surprized you didn't get it done...the speed you're working at in the pop-rivet video...should've only taken you an hour to complete everything 😂
I run out of meth to quick to keep that pace up🤣. It’s exciting though seeing it come back together. Yesterday had me super excited so I had to celebrate properly
the seat is a bit of a sneak peek Mrs ArmyRover isn’t quite done yet with them but I am beyond happy with her first attempt at doing upholstery
Funny you should mention seats. #7 on my list of things learned was going to be...there is no lumbar support, at all, in the front seats! 5 hours in the saddle made for a pretty unpleasant ride. Going to check right now what is available for this. Then, back to work on Victoria.
Granted, it could have something to do with my RA...and old age (yes, was a spring chicken just a short time ago...seemed like anyway...that's how fast things can change). Didn't really notice this issue a few years ago.

we replaced the lower and reshaped the uppers a bit with more in the lower back. We added seat heaters as well
