Figured out a fix for the power steering hose mismatch. Basically the original 110 pump has a shallower threaded connection on the pressure hose. Installed a o-ring on the tube and tightened it back up an no leak now.

Got the Alternator wiring ran went to mount the alternator and found out there were some clearance issues. Got that sorted by removing what was left of the factory AC (didn't work and wasn't all there). Now the alternator fits perfectly. Tomorrow I'll get on putting the radiator and hoses back in place.

A special thank you to the Lucky8 crew and Justin in particular for getting all the bit's I've needed quickly for me even the parts that flew first class from England.

You can't tell me that this radiator isn't pretty

Thanks, she is 30 years old though

I'm hoping to have it buttoned up tomorrow and finish the interior over the weekend as well so I can enjoy driving her to work on Wed. Then the MG can slide back into the garage for a nice winter nap.

Sorry Army Rover, senile brain fade on my part. That makes the ole 110 even more amazing for it's year. I did note the MGB sitting in your drive.

So, today I buttoned up the wiring, put the correct harness on the distributor(instead of the home made crap I came up with) filled the coolant up and installed the grill surround.

I tried to fire it and she wouldn't start. Figured out the new wiring to the dizzy was backwards. Swapped that and she rumbled to life. So I let it idle while I watched everything. Noticed a small coolant leak at the back of the intake manifold and before my eyes it turned into a gush of coolant. I shut it down and looked realizing I forgot to tighten the hose clamp... well crap lol, so I tightened that down, cleaned up all the tools and tried to shut the hood. Can't quite get it to latch so I'll need to do some alignment work there tomorrow. It latched on the secondary and the anti theft latch so....

I climbed in put her in reverse and backed it out of the drive. I put her in first and rolled down the drive into the street. I ran her up the rpm range, hit second, and in third I gave it the beans and I have one thing to say.....

I have a few thank you's to put out there. PTSchram for some great advice and reminding my dumb butt I forgot to order a pilot bearing and then getting me one quickly.

Justin at www.lucky8llc.com for getting me the bulk of my parts at a great price and quickly. Soon it will be time to start ordering some suspension bits.
A crane cam, holley 4 barrel edelbrock manifold on a 3.9 is the cats meow! She took off like I have never experienced in my 110. I have to add hearing a V8 rumble is a very missed sound in my life.

She's alive and should be all buttoned up and ready to resume her daily drive duties by tuesday.

Need to adjust the timing and the carb tomorrow but she's running pretty darn good!

In case your wondering what that is, it's all the wiring going to the motor. All fried to a nice crispy state....
