You can do it have faith, I have no time, no money and no skills whatsoever lol. You can see what I've accomplished by shear luck and Polish determination.

I warmed up my phone a bit and decided to try and take a few pics the front tires have the spacers and rears do not yet. They will hopefully be here in the next few days.

ArmyRover is this lovely 110 gonna be your daily driver once its all done and up to date? or are you going to turn it into a primary offroad adventure toy? Looking mighty fine with those spacers. Id love to see it with a 3" lift!

It's already my daily driver about 500 miles a week. In the summer it gets a break and this takes over the daily duties. It will get used for off road work as well and family camping trips.

It's a 1972 MGB.

I decided against a lift on the 110 as it already sits as high as a RRC or D1 with a 2" lift. Plus I can run 33's as is. Those are 265/75's (32ish) on it now and there is plenty of room left.

Finished up the basis for my tablet mount, need to do a bit of finishing work to make it look a bit more presentable but it's functional for now.

I went back out in the snow and sound deadend my driver and passenger door. Put the door panel back on and then installed a new switch plate cover so my dome light switch doesn't dangle from the wires anymore. You can also see the fog light switch that I mounted where the choke cable used to go.

Ok so the updates as of late have been slow since it got to cold in Chicago to go outside let alone work out there.

The second day of the cold snap I had a intake manifold gasket fail and I had to fix that. PTSchram described it as to much crank case pressure. I think it flooded gas into the oil and fumes ignited

So while I was at it I replaced a few coolant hoses, thermostat and gasket as well.

Turned out the battery was shorting internally as well so a new interstate battery went in today as well. Luckily the old one was still under warranty so it was free to replace

Finally I put my rear spacers on and did a oil change. I'll take some better pics of the after with the spacers on tomorrow in the daylight.

So how are things going with insulating? Seeing how extremely cold its been lately Im surprised youve driven it at all. I imagine what everyone says about the cold air getting in the cabin and the poor heaters..... either way everything looks great. Those spacers give a nice beefy touch! What exactly are you using the tablet for? GPS?

I guess the best thing about a classic Rover is that you dont need to use an ultragauge and monitor your temps as much hahaha

Nope just a coolant temp gauge to get the job done. I just dress warm and have done my best to seal as many air gaps as I can using peel and stick weather stripping from Home Depot.

Tablet is gps, mp3 player etc. Works great, it's not that expensive and the maps are always up to date. You can save the google maps now to for offline work.

Well today the 110 left me stranded at the office, the starter died.
