Default Steering drop link gap

Hi all,

First time post here, sure someone can help me out.

See the picture attached of my steering drop link. I am not sure there should be a gap between the link and the bottom of the steering box? To me it looks like that should all be a little bit more snug and that little rubber boot should be keeping dirt out?

It doesn't feel loose but I have bee chasing a steering wobble so I am just inspecting everything.

Thanks in advance!

That's fine. Just push the rubber boot/seal back up where it belongs. The boot should fit up against gear box, and there will be a small gap, which is normal, between seal and pitman arm.

Ace thanks. Just wanted to check I didn't have an abnormal gap there. I'll see if I can move that boot back up.
