Default Tricky Diagnose Oil Light at Idle.

Quick question. ( LR DISCO 2003, 98K ). Can a bad (Magnecore Cable 8 MM ) cilinder Number 7 be the cause of low Idle and therefore an Oil Light.? Cable was burned since it was not properly Installed. As soon as I Am on the gas it goes Off and have checked Oil Switch. Changed Oil .( 20w 40 ) . Did an Oil Test. I´m 95% sure it´s not Mechanical ... I think its electrical.. since I ( think ) have checked everything else. Any POINTERS please.

maybe post it to disco forum? My audi showed oil sign when it was running on low idle (wrong fuel) and all cables were ok.
