I am a life long owner and fan of the landrover Defender and have enjoyed many years of traveling and fun and my dream has been to actually buy a new Defender. This year I decided to go for it and studied the internet looking at many new landrovers for sale and at last spotted the perfect one for me. It was advertised by Landrover Jaguar in Stockholm and had all the extra's already fitted including a winch and lights, what could go wrong? I bought the car over the phone and in e-mails from Landrover Jaguar Stockholm. I arranged to collect my dream Landrover 3 weeks later when I had an pre arranged appointment in Stockholm and when I finally got to collect the car I was shocked to find that the garage had removed most of the extra's and told me that they had never ment to sell them with the car. I protested and said that I had bought the car following the pictures and discription they had posted on Bytbil and I had paid more than the standard price for the Landrover and this was surely because all the accessories were included. They refused to replace these extra's and would not discuss the matter any further, only through lawyers, so much for customer service. I find there behaviour that of some dodgy back street dealer and would not expected this from a authorised Landrover dealer in Stockholm. They have deliberately set out to decieve the customer ( Me ) by advertising the car with all the extra's in the pictures and discribing the car with extra's fitted. As soon as I bought the Landrover they removed this advertising and so I could not copy pictures and will only talk through lawyers now. If anyone has experienced problems with this garage or has downloaded the pictures of this red defender advertised on Bytbil in March and April of this year I would really like to hear from you. If you have advice I would also like you to contact me. If you are thinking of buying from Landrover Jaguar Stockholm, beware! Despite all this trouble I am still a dedicated Landrover fan and I know that honesty and determination will prevail in the end.
