I just acquired this Landrover from my husband, and it seems to be having a bunch of issues..hopefully this is the last issue. These warning lights randomly come on when I drive. I dont know what they mean, and i dont know how bad it could be....can anyone help me out with this? id like to sell this car and move onto something more convenient.

Attached please find pages from owner's manual that detail info about the lights. One with "S" is sport mode, selected by small button at rear of gear shift. Engine light means you have a code stored in memory of the engine computer, a dealer will charge a diagnostic fee to read it, most auto parts stores will read it for free. Write down the number and post back here. The other three lights are "the three Amigos" and if you search that you will find various repair techniques for them on this site.

 

So the service engine light means you have a fault code stored, go to the local parts store and they should read the fault code numbers for you, then get back to us with them.
As for the 3 brake lights, those are the 3 Amigos indicating you have a brake issue.
I would kick your husband out of the house for dropping this on you.

Hi guys..
Im new to this site and I have a question regarding my 2003 Land Rover Discovery 4.6 engine is beeping the transfer case light.
Can any one help me as to what do I need to do to stop that dam beeping?
