So after putting Rockford fosgate rx14’s in my truck, the audio was great and crystal clear but lacked bass to round it. So I decided to add an 8inch sub woofer but wanted something discreet and not too much. (anything too big would rattle the truck like crazy anyways)
After some thought I decided to get a powered sub made to fit under a car seat. With little room under the seat of a disco I had to do some hunting but found the perfect solution. A planet audio p8awk 8 inch subwoofer.
Fits under the seat perfectly, wedges right into place. Only used a large zip tie to tie it down so there’s no rattle. Super easy install and the kit comes with the perfect amount of wire. Also, with putting it under the seat there are plenty of great places to hide the wire. While it is a cheap sub, it is all this truck needs and adds a good bottom end to the audio that actually sounds good and not like some kid blasting his 12’s in the Walmart parking lot with so much distortion that it isn’t even music.

as you can see completely discreet and sounds wonderful!
thought I would share because this one fits so perfectly.
nicely done man. I have my 5 channel amp in that same spot. I repurposed the old sub area in the tailgate with super low profile 6.5" woofers. Pretty happy with the sound as well!
