Default 1996 Disco Turn signal / Hazard Issue

Ok, so... I blew a fuse and my brake lights stopped working, as well as my ability to shift into gear from park, replaced it life was good, a few days later I lost my turn signals and hazards, went to replace fuses, and all are good (in cab and under hood) so I assume this is a flasher relay gone bad... I was all set to order one, and just read in a thread somewhere that there is a relay for each side, if that's the case how could they both fail at once? Did I read wrong, is there only one? if so is it the R1 or the fuse e201? Sorry, I have the RAVE manual and I have tried figuring this out for a couple days now, but people are getting mad at me in traffic as hand signals aren't as well known as they used to be and no one knows them lol... Can anyone give me a bit of insight here please. I was all set to order a relay then saw they come in 4-5 pin and then read there were 2 of them, I am very lost lol

Multimeters and schematics are your friend. Electron flow is difficult to see with the naked eye.
