I just experienced the same problem. All four windows have been working just fine then suddenly today the rear windows wont do anything. I pulled the switch panel and i'm getting 12 volts to the switches for the front windows, and they work fine, but i'm not getting power to the switches for the rear windows.
I will check out the previous links and see what happens.

No. This guide doesn't require a kit, just parts locally purchased if you don't have them laying around the workshop. Usually it's like Spike said, just soldering cold solder joints on the lift ECU card.

No, you can just use any wire and soldering pencil.
The kit will have everything you need and instructions on how to do it.
Or you can use the link IHScouts included, either one will work.
Or you can just not worry about it and leave the rear windows up.

Just so everybody is clear, there are two methods to "repairing" the rear window ECU. One involves soldering bad connections on the board. The other is a complete bypass.
Both methods are outlined here:

None of my door windows work!
I had pretty good luck so far with my 95 Disco until today when I started the right front window rolling down in the "auto" setting. I shut the ignition key off when the window was about 1/2 way down, and when I started back up to be on my way, NONE iof the windows work at all! I checked fuses-- good, and replaced them anyway. Still- no luck. HELP, it's freezing out!
(Oh yes, I removed the ECU and repaired anll the suspect solder joints, and thought that'd be it, but still-- no luck)
