Call Will Tillery and ask him about head gasket special that includes remanned heads.
He will send you everything you need including heads ready to go in your truck and a shipping label to send your old ones back. This cuts down in time and speaking from first hand experience the work is quality. I did this on the last truck I did HG on and it was worth every penny having the new set of heads sitting there ready to go in.
I think the cost was $510 total including shipping, gasket kit, bolts and heads.

I am glad to know that. That is the kind of info all of us need to be aware of.

Why does everyone think aftermarket stuff is inferior to OEM? People assume walmart stuff is inferior, but does wm own a refinery? NOPE! Do they own a hot dog factory? NOPE! Aspirin factory? NOPE! They buy from a large vendor who packages the product to their specs, same as most places with their own brands. NAPA doesn't make their own brand oil, they buy from a distributor same as Autozone does.
Rant off.
I typically use Wal-Mart gear lube, I know who makes that, Safety-Kleen, same brand the US military uses.
Trevor rocks, I e-mailed him last weekend about all the gaskets and seals to repack all my wheel bearings, $25 shipped for all four wheels.
I have been using him for 90% of my parts.

I paid $1300.00. More than some and less than others. I looked at a few for more that were thrashed. I figure I will put 1000-2000 into it and have a keeper. That's is the hope...So double that? I have been told by a few Indy rover shops and also the dealer that its liners and not head gaskets. However, I feel that they were trying to steer me towards motor replacement, etc. From the thirty or so hours spent on the blogs, I hope that it is a head. Would you guys say that 9.8 times out of 10 its heads? Thanks. Tearing her down at the moment...

Those remanned heads would be a great way to go as well.
