2 ground wires.
Does anyone know what the 2 wires go to that are grounded to the back of the drivers side head of a 1995 3.9? The bolt they are grounded to is one of the bolts that holds the engine hoist bracket. I have looked for a complete wiring diagram but have been unable to find one.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Since you are on the subject of ground connections, I would strongly recommend you look at the battery to chassis ground and the starter to chassis ground connections. Onb the Discovery, these are notorious for corroding and causing all sorts of problems.
One specific problem can be intermittent starter where at times, the starter will do nothing leading one to think their starter is bad when it is actually the ground wires connection to the frame.

my Issue with the 2 ground wires i speak of is that I just did the head gaskets and I have been driving it. I put over 200 miles on it. I have a minor idle problem after the HG job but it runs great. today I found these 2 wires that I neglected to re-attach to the grounding bolt. I reconnected and started the engine. It runs great but I have not had the time to drive it yet. I am curious what these 2 wires are for.
