No CKP on trucks with a distributor. Dizzy trucks have an ignition amplifier that can overheat and kill spark. Here's a short Rover document that explains the various pieces on the multiple types of fuel injection systems.

Awesome! I knew there a reason I bought an old one. Tho I wouldn't mind the gas mileage of a newer one.

Wow didn't realize the truck was down this long! Anyways since I'm breaking my toys one by one I started on the rover again... Starter was stuck from the mud and crud dried on and after fully charging the battery and having a car to jump the battery with it finally turned over again! About 2 mins later she fired right up and runs like a champ! To think I almost gave up on her lol. Once everything dried she's good to go and back offroad again! I figured I'd give y'all an update in case anyone else has the same issue.
