Gents,

Finally had some time to yank this radiator out and its toast. Radiator guy actually laughed when I showed it to him ! Before i do an all out search at boneyards or with Paul or Lincoln, I have a question. Mine is the 3.9 , will a 4.0 raditor work as well ? Ive seen a couple of 'new" ones on Ebay and they lack both the oil cooler and/ or the PS cooler . if I go that route , do I just cap the lines off ? Need this to be a budget fix as Im waaaaay over play money with it being bike racing season.

Have you asked about having it recored? It's not as cheap as it once was, but a HD core is still cheaper than even an aftermarket standard radiator and a lot cheaper than an OE radiator.
As long as the tanks are good and the frame isn't rusted to pieces a recore should work.

 

Should work, but you won't have oil cooler (neither do some D2s), and you could use aftermarket tranny cooler.

 

Where are you located? I have one I just took out of my 95 for sale - truck always ran nice and cool. Would prefer local pick up but may consider shipping. Let me know if you want pics.
