Default Well, goodness gracious, me... so, bottom's up!

Now this post had me in roars of laughter, as well as 'n a sudden cringe of anxiety - whatever would anyone read in my admitted semantic shortcomings but other than an honest attempt at sharing whatever little knowledge I have attained in analysing and reporting on my Landy's lamentable lack of consistent self-control and charitable if not chaste conduct, both on and off road?

Switching back to electrical connectors- I'll do a few photographs and show you a foolproof way of testing that driver window switch.

After having replaced the unfaithful voltage amplifier and before turning the ignition key I certainly DID whisper a few manly words of encouragement if not threats of witholding in her ear. I told you the reaction was immediate and purrrrty...

You, easy prey? Way too wordwise and worldwise and streetwise for that, you are, my lady.

The self-inflicted suffering of virtuosity towards the chocolate cake would not have lasted I guess, after having had to work through the muddy drivel of understanding a foreigner's turn of phrase. However, a cry and a nap only AFTER the cake makes we wish to propose a change in your sequence of indulgences for eventual better and longer lasting effect.

Ain't no mountains out here or anywhere I be out of breath for a proper act of contrition and a request for forgiveness. When and IF I am found guilty.

"Double etendres"? Ain't no man walkin' this here land more careful'n I for just statin' th'onest heartfelt truth of the moment. No beatin' 'bout the bush, that's me. However, I may just reconsider my inbred and as I thought gallant way of working from the top down, and invert that. That will give the old faculty something to think about in the days to come.

Shalom.

Si’… Andries, the man of double entendreeeees… Happy to hear that I can make you laugh but no need for anxiety. I can't imagine how anyone could read the above statement any other way than how it was intended

I want you to know that I've really mastered the sizzling 's' and rolling 'r's today

My 'bad' on the 'actuator' - I just realized that is the term used for door locks (sheesh..) and I look forward to your photos when you get a chance. Thank you for the smiles (backatcha) and have a great rest of your week.

That scissor-action inside the door which moves the window up or down is called by such a silly term that this poor brain keeps on rejecting it. If a straightforward piece of equipment normally called a door lock suddenly becomes THE ACTUATOR one must accept that nerds have invaded the vehicle service and operator's manual design industry.

Your posts are great fun to read and digest and consider - and each one is noted, thank you.

I have taken the side-window switches photos, shall annotate them tomorrow and post them here.

Go to sleep with a happy thought and a smile - there is nothing a PM stressed-out Landy lady can maliciously internally dissassemble during the night (Landrovers actually do that - some leftover from England's darkest days of Druidical incantations over anything that looked like technology), which a hu-man blessed with a logical brain cannot overcome in the morning.

Maybe you will be interested in the photos on the testing procedure for side window control switches sir. What was the quoted comment in aid of, if I may ask? It certainly did not add to the general pool of knowledge, did it now.

Good afternoon Sir. I didn’t see your post until earlier this morning but I believe it must have come to me subliminally in my sleep as I slept very soundly, thank you very much. I didn’t even have to count cats to fall asleep....those pesky critters can be hard to herd especially when you’re trying to get some well needed shut-eye. Tails a flyin’, claws coming out….they sometimes scratch too – must remind myself to stop at the store after work and pick up some more soothing skin balm.

Not to worry… I’m not a ‘crazy cat lady’. ‘Slightly Crazy lady’, yes, cat lady…. not so much.

My ‘posts are great fun to read and digest…’ Why thank you Mr. M. Not as much fun to digest
as chocolate cake, I’m sure....

Neither did the five pages of crap you have thrown up here on a technical rovers forum. Take it to the off topic section.

Abran supplies good info to technical questions. So far, you don't.

I just came in from a beautiful 2.5 mile walk where I spoke to the deer and watched fish jump in a sparkling creek which so happened to be awakening from a cold winter's sleep.. to read this

I owe Abran a lot as he has been so nice to me since I joined this forum. He has PM'd me and provided me with much knowledge so it is with a heavy heart that I find that I've upset him and the rest of the DI clan.

Mr. Geek, I realize that Mr. Montero and I did get a little long winded but it isn't every day that I get to spar with the wisdom that is found on this forum. I shall be sure to not let it happen again Mr. Montero has also been quite helpful in steering me straight on what is wrong with my Landy (as he so nicely puts it) and I have to thank him as well. It has also been observed that the OP has not been back since even after some useful information has been shared (and I'm sure it isn't because of us).

Ssssssssssooooooooooo........(still practicing my 's's) until then I will leave you with this little tidbit (all in good fun mind you...):

Adieu

Ms. Slightly Crazy (no cake for you!!!)
