hi guys my speedo had an issy fit yesterday all over the place then stopped all together also lost my odometer ..anyone got any ideas where i should start ..? had a quick look on previous posts ..seems sensor or head itself ? is this correct and how difficult a job is it ?

 

vehicle speed sensor on transfer case sends a signal that this small circuit board inside the cluster that then decodes. Pages attached from RAVE electrical manual, whole download available for free. Won't be fuse F 14 unless lots of other things are out also. At a DIY salvage yard, instrument clusters go for $25 - $35. Start with VSS.

 

Savannah Buzz thanks.. had root around uder landy took off sensor cleaned it up as best as poss put it back .. hey presto working .. maybe one to many big puddles.. thanks again
