Default Speedo flashing and out of calibration

Just working through the few issues on my newly purchased 2001 Discovery II SE7. The readout for the speedo flashes all the time and the speedo is reading about 15% out (i.e. when it reads 115 kph I'm actually doing about 100 kph) I checked the odometer out and it is right on. I have no idea whether the previous owner changed tire sizes. Could this cause the problem?

How does the speedometer needle flash? Are you meaning that the odometer flashes?
Changing tire size wont cause this. And you can check the tire size by opening the drivers door and checking the tire placard and then comparing that to the tire size that is on your trk.

I believe you will have to get your speedo into a good shop to see if they can reprogram it.

Sorry, I meant the odometer readout is flashing, but the speedo is out about 15%. I tested trip odometer and it is correct and it doesn't flash

You will need to have it looked at by a shop. It is a electrical issue.
