I'm in N. Carolina. I can get a transmission locally for $200, with 91,000 miles on it.

 

I think I would buy that spare for 200, go thru it doing all the good stuff to it, then install it and keep the other as a spare. Most other things I have seen are a lot higher.

When I get a little extra money, I'll be trying to pick one up at the place mentioned in Pittsburgh and have it ready for swapping in when needed.

Ok im new too this forum as well. I had my battery cked yesterday but after I took it out of my lr amd voltage was 12. The reason I took the battery out to test it was bc my lr wouldnt drive. When in drive its like being in neutral. It only goes into reverse. And park. What couldthis be?

 

I thought it coild be the battery after I just let it run off the battery instead of turning it fully on. After that the flashing m n s lights came on and of the automatic shift the d 1 &2 would blink. Now all lights oj dash are off n no more blinking on the shifter but it still wont go into drive.
