I have tried searching for this info and have not been able to figure this out! I replaced the battery and then when go to start, wipers are going, horn is sounding and she will not turn over. I am on an air force base in north dakota very far from a dealer. when i have called anyone around here they won't touch it, and minneapolis dealer are such arrogant asses, they just say needs new "ECC". they quoted $6800 USD. I have owned many many old rovers at the end of their life but this is a new one for me. I do not need an alarm at all and would be willing to get rid of it. Or replace this "module"? Any help is much much appreciated

 

Do you have a working key fob? if not, I would lock/unlock the car from the drivers door with it closed as the alarm is having its issue and try to get it to disarm itself
