97 discovery 1 wont start
i have a 97 discovery when bought it was fine until the battery went out and then got replaced and put a new fuel pump in along with mass air flow sensor , fuel pressure regulator as well as sensor and it still wont start anything i may have not be right ?
If you put in a new fuel pump and a new MAF and a new FPR and a new fuel temp sensor, you could have bought another truck!
But Tom is right, start with the basics, fuel pressure at rail, the pump runs for a few seconds when key is switched on, draws maybe 5 amps. Inertia switch needs to be reset for pump to work, press down on top of switch.
Attach a spare plug and lay on manifold to see if you are getting spark, could be the crank position sensor.

My 97 seems to be all about the voltage and locking out when it's too low, so I want to make sure you don't have that issue!
