Aaaaargh, I just got all the above codes and rough running Disco. I have read change the plugs and wires which I will do in the near future. Any other ideas?
List of things done to vehicle:
Has 143,000 miles
New Catalytic converter( did notice 1 exhaust bolt missing)
Head gasket replaced
Radiator flush
New oil and trans fluid
A couple of oil gaskets replaced
The plugs and wires have actually been replaced within 10k miles
New VSS
Sea foamed intake and gas tank about 1500 miles ago
New fuel filter
1 ignition pack replaced ( side closest to passenger ) not actually sure of correct name for that part
I did notice 2 wires loose on ignition pack and pushed them back in
It has been up to 80 degrees where I live lately and have gotten an occasional p0300 code prior to the p1313 and p1316 code but didn't run badly. I just reset the check engine light and went about my business.
I also notice the check engine light actually is blinking then stayed on
The Disco engine temp runs between 195 and 210, accugauge tells me that.
Do the wires and/or plugs throw these codes when bad???
Thank you

Plugs and wires good first step, try to look under hood in total darkness to see any arcs for insulation breaking down on coils, wires, plugs.

I just replaced the plugs with champion plugs. The old NGK plugs had almost all of its copper electrode gone. I cranked it up and it was better but not right. I will have to order wires when I get to a computer. Is it normal for the exhaust to have soot in the water that comes out of the exhaust? Oh, it threw a p1313 again. Still not right

And didn't see any arcs when looking at it in the dark
