accel spark plug wires on d1

So this is why distributor less ignition rovers are so hard on plug wires? OK I get it

Did not use the accels I did not have any to fit these coil types, ended up putting on an extra set from jyi had think they were Bosch double spiral wound mag core blah blah blah look like new

I immediately had a miss so we pulled wires one by one all blue spark till we get to 6 no spark then blue then nothing so swapped wire same,

bad coil glad I had spare coils

so had wire 4 burned up melted and coil for 6 intermittent spark and wondered why I had 8 MPG hope this helps since it feels like more power and smoother acceleration,

wonder if this was also my highway vibration, although before today I always saw the engine idle smooth so wonder how long the coil was bad

Always good to keep spares around

Went with the ngk G series plugs got a good deal online , had the standard ngk coppers in it they were well worn visibly just hoping to get my MPG out of the 9 's
