"my hard line from AB is with the correct fitting but bubble flare,...i'm gonna "rent" a brake line flaring tool from the parts store, cut and re-flare my hard line, and return the AB hoses."

If I'm reading this right the 2 HARD LINES have the FEMALE tube nut, but with a bubble flare. Then you are half way there, don't cut off the bubble(unless it's F'd up) and just turn the bubble into the inverted flare....

I don't know about inverted but a bubble flare is a bitch to make with the cheap parts store flaring tools.

This is the tool that I used when I had to install a new fitting on a hardline on my DII.

making the bubble flare into an inverted one looks like easy mode in that video, and he's using a basic cheapo kit.

my genuine LR brake lines (read: $$$$$$) and axle side splitter thing shipped today from rovers north, super happy with the guys over there. just hung up with AB about returning the allmakes lines, the sales guy knew who i was right away when i said my name and mentioned an email from doug (the tech dude) and sent me a RMA and fedex label without so much as a hesitation without any explanation at all and the tech guy didnt reach out to me with a resolution either. **** them. cant wait to drive my truck again in a couple days.

well, got it all in and good. genuine LR soft lines are WAY better quality than the allmakes ones. i ended up just driving down the road to a mom and pop auto shop and gave a guy there a few bucks to re-flare my lines instead of driving twice the distance to go buy or rent a POS flare tool. one of the hard lines from the kit ended up being about 6" too long so i just put a loop near the soft line at the rear axle, but besides that, i'm happy to be driving again. i didnt change out any of the front lines, i gave them a good look over and they are in much better shape than the ones going to the back that i replaced.

TL;DR atlantic british can suck it, allmakes brake hoses are wrong, rolling around in a rock filled dirt driveway is terrible, and roversnorth not only is open saturday, they also send a sticker and a magazine with your order.
