Bad transmission hose
Well a couple a weeks ago I made a tight U turn and screwed up the rubber hose that contains the transmission fluid. The rubber hose is on the driver side 15in from the wheel I will upload a pic tomorrow. I would rater just replace the bad portion instead of replacing the hole assembly it self.
Thanks Collin

A. Transmission fluid headed to/from tranny cooler is under some pressure, but different from the big pressure inside the valve body. In lots of vehicles with larger engines than our 4.0 people add extra transmission coolers, etc.
B. A field repair, to allow you to safely limp drive the truck while you wait on locating a pre-owned unit (one of our dismantlers) can be accomplished with two male to male hose b-a-r-b fittings, metal, four hose clamps, and some of the correct diameter reinforced hose. But you are dealing with low pressure at idle, and a lot more at higher rpm. Something on the order of 80 -125 PSI in some cases. So it needs to be a really good connection, or it will pop apart and you will have all the tranny fluid on the ground before you can stop the truck.
Aother option is to locate a hydraulic hose repair shop in your area (there will be several usually). They can repair or make a replacement hose for you.
C. The fickle hand of fate will reach up and grab somthi' off da truck when u least expect it... just minding your own business, showing off for the boyz.... an it happened.
