Yep, look in the RAVE workshop manual, section 12, V8i engine, repair, under "Drive Belt Renew". Shows the tensioner repair as well. Believe it is a 15mm wrench or socket needed. See below for RAVE download, covers multiple models. FOLLOW ROUTING DIAGRAM - or risk overheat.

The tensioner pulley bolt is about 8mm, but the head is 15mm AFAIK.

Thanks guys, now I understand how it works, and how to re-route the belt. Thanks!
Tension-er pulley bolt seems like it does not want to tighten? Maybe its stripped? All i did was loosen it. Hmmmm

Maybe I loosened it too much?

There are 2 bolts on the tensioner, which one are you talking about?
The one that screws into the block? Or the one that screws into the pulley?

I would be surprised if you stripped the threads just by removing the bolt. How do the threads on the bolt look? Take the bolt and clean up the threads with a wire wheel or brush. Also if you have compressed air try blowing out the the hole in the block, or use brake cleaner to flush out any debris. Is the bolt going into the block all the way and just not biting? Or will it not go in at all b/c the threads won't start. Try jiggling the tensioner while hand threading the bolt. Sometimes alignment can be tricky.
