The best junk yard day ever!
So I took a trip to my local pick-a-part. Behold, a 1995 Disco just like mine, only with jump seats. One was torn, but the other was perfect, so I removed it and all the brackets. Took it to the counter to find out that it was only $19 dollars. So I went back in and got all the sensors, injectors, pressure regulator and the distributor from the engine. Now I have some spare parts! Today I modified a brush guard from a F150 to fit my Disco. It came out great (or at least I think it did). Pics are in my gallery. I am thinking about heading back for the tranny and transfer case. (they will not sell the engine!)

A bad day at the junk yard beats a good day at work....
Should have got the alternator, fan clutch if good, radiator (?), electric seat switches (if so equipped). I used a front passenger seat to replace my ripped up driver's seat, bolts right in and cables plug in. Lumbar support **** clears the door post. The pull-a-parts around Atlanta have on-line inventory, and you can even get an email or text message when a vehicle of interest comes on the lot.
And when people complain about a web site or email address, just tell them they are lucky it is not:

The alt. was an aftermarket, and rusted (the hood was removed already). Mine is cloth manual seats, so all that gee-wiz power stuff does not apply. I will most certainly head back for the radiator. My next quest is to figure out what manual window regulator will fit in my Disco, cause I hate power options.
Starter? Steering box? PS pump? ECU? On the rad, take some clean rubber hose, and use it to blow air thru the oil cooler side when you disconnect the oil lines. I pulled one, flushed it out, installed it, cranked truck, checking for leaks, all good.... then saw that oil light was still on! The cooler was 95% clogged and had killed off the donor Disco.
Sounds like you have the "3 R's" - Rolling Recycled Relic. My daughter named ours, old Frankie was brought to life with parts from the dead ones....
And take some gator ade and a big hat this time of year.

Thanks, having a welder makes for fun projects. I need to paint it up now, and tidy up some loose ends. All in all I love the way it came out.
