Default Bottom end Knock

Today I noticed that I had a knock in the bottom end of the engine. From the top it sounded like a valve untill I crawled under and heard it pretty load near the oil pan. Maybe a bearing or catylic converter?

Sunday I sawed off the rear muffler off because it was dang near rusted thru. Is there any way this could have any thing to do with that? I hope just coincendence.

Rear muffler is coincidence.

Does it do it all the time or only after driving?
If only after driving its the cats.
If all the time, prob bearings.

Thanks.

All the time. I took a piece of hose and got under there and got between the oil pan transmission and too be honest I think its coming from the torque converter.
I was told by the lady I bought it from she just had the tranny rebuilt. which by now is about 5k miles ago. Fluid looks good and it changes gears perfect.
