Default brakes drag/squeal around corners at highway speed

New brakes...pads rotors in front and pads in the rear. Travelling down a winding 60 mph highway last weekend the brakes (mostly front) began to squeal/squeak around curves. When I lightly step on brakes the squeal stops.

I'll admit to not doing the job myself (no time). The fact that brake pressure clamps the pads and stops the squeal rules out other driveline/axle possibilities such as CV joints.

What should I be looking into? Hub nut not sufficiently torqued?

More than likely some did not install any type of antisqeal device. And the pads are rattling, have them take the calipers off and apply a coat to the back of the pads, i like permatex brand

Hub articulation. Bearings are adjustable on the DI, right? Might want to check the adjustment and correct as necessary.

If they're unit bearings like on the DII, then it's hub/ bearing replacement time.

Racer...what do you mean by 'adjustable' versus 'unit' bearings. Either way, wouldn't they squeal all time?

They are about three years old and never seen mud or wading of any kind. Hard rain is about as wet as they get.

They are SKF BR37 bearings....

OK, that is what I figured and meant by "hub nut not sufficiently torqued" aka: end float adjustment.

Thanks

Do you have the anti-rattle springs?

Mine did that, all I needed was new springs.
