Brief overheating on 96' disco
I saw the temp gauge raise almost all the way hot today then promptly stopped at an Autozone let it cool, refilled the coolant, and drove off with no other signs of overheating. Is it most likely that there is just a leak somewhere? I've put almost 1k miles on this disco without it burning any oil or overheating whatsoever. Could it be the water pump? Any and all thoughts are welcome!
I just put four Old Man Emu nitrocharger shocks and a bilstein steering damper on the truck. She drives very well and is incredible off-road. I recently found a hole in the stock muffler, I bought a $20 glasspack at Autozone and got it welded up. It looks and sounds great, the stock resonator is still on the truck so it's not very loud, just sounds good. Also put an aftermarket k&n style intake on the truck, runs great. Hoping for a little better MPG's. She's a great ride so far! It has lots of small interior issues and the driver side window is making some bad noises when moved, but mechanically everything is in check except for this one overheating instance.
