I think I'd try Will Tillery or Paul Grant for a good used one first.

Thanks i shot them an email looking for the part. I'm still trying to diagnose the problem.

The car will drive and run perfectly one moment and then i will will all of a sudden bog out and drive and run like poop. sputtering and with not pick up. this code comes up as well as a misfire code and and MAF code.

I put new plugs in it yesterday as the other plugs were fouled.

in the last 6 months i have put in a new fuel pump, a new crank shaft sensor, a new muffler, and welded in a new cat.

This is my second disco, so i am no stranger to smashing my head against a wall trying to keep these trucks alive.

any thoughts on my problem?

Before you buy a cam sensor unplug your VSS, it is on the transfer case, unplug it, drive it and see if the problem goes away.

I un-plugged the VSS and the problem is still happening, and now no code are poping up...

What about the O2's? Cleaned IACV and MAF? Fuel Octane? ECU? Injectors? The list goes on and on.........

I need some sage advice on a problem i cant figure out.

I have owned 2 disco's and have done almost all of my repairs myself. So i know these trucks pretty well.

my latest problem vexes me and i can't tell if I'm being bested or missing something.

When i start my truck it starts perfectly, about 5 minutes into driving it it starts to loose power, sputters, and pops. if i keep driving it under 2000 rpm's eventually it drives semi-normal again but sometimes the problem re-occurs.

I have replaced the muffler with a muffler from AB, but i tried to go the cheep route and replace the cats one at a time, due to rattling on the drivers side first. then i replaced the passengers side.

I have also replaced the coolant temp sensor and the the downstream passengers side oxygen sensor. In the past 6 months i have replaced two fuel pumps and altinator, crank sensor, and a few relays.

i was getting a code for a camshaft position sensor, so i pulled the connector apart and cleaned it with electrical cleaner and i haven't had a fault code on that since.

I disconnected the VSS and drove with it disconnected to see if that made a difference and no luck, and i also swapped out MAFS from my mold truck to new as well as fuel pump relays and no change.

also oil change, new plugs and wires.

The truck is still running suspect but no new codes are coming up? Is the ECU dying?

what do you think?

Desperate, should i bring it and have it tuned on testbook?

Knock sensor(s) loose? ECU changes timing based on knock sensor, so if false input, could make strange things happen. Fuel pressure regulator good, or rotten hose to it? Vac leak?
