" I guess that is one way to get away from issues of the past."

I think Cannibal V8 Resurrection's new website fits into this category!

So what's the difference? Just the name? Any mea culpa on the site?

I have to say I've had only positive experiences with the cannibals. They've always answered my questions and offered to sell me real expensive Engines on a very friendly way. But the things I hage seen posted here (on the forums) scared me away forever. And ever.

Nothing has changed with the motors it would seem. They are still a crap shoot. They just changed the name to hide from the past.

They are still pushing hard on facebook as well. https://www.facebook.com/Cannibal-V8...097/?ref=br_rs #cannibalv8resurrection lol

I don't frequent DiscoWeb but I bet half of the Cannibals' likely customers are either here or there. It is a small world, no?

Perhaps he gives the 10/10 guarantee? 10 feet or 10 seconds, whichever comes first.

They should be renamed "Engine Cannibals".
Alloy rocker arms, pistons and bearings are all contaminated with hard metal particles and now machining (scoring) away the crank journals, cylinder bores, cam and lifters.
A 20-30 minute cam break in process followed with an oil drain and filter check for fine particles or big chunks from the engine eating itself up.
Second oil change and inspection at 50, 500, 1K, 1.5K and 2K miles.
From day one to years running it you should add break in oil to protect that flat tappet cam and lifters.
Zinc and phosphorus now gone which protects flat tappet engines, thanks EPA.
EPA doesn't care as the world now run on roller cams and lifters.
A pre-oiler goes a long way for a happy Rover engine due to their normal dry start problems.
Prost......~~=o&o>......
