can't shift transfer case

Ehh... if you get grinding its your tcase that has to be rebuilt/replaced...

Make sure you are in neutral when making changes to the shifter

Yeah I was in neutral while trying to shift. How hard would it be to remove the transfer case?

check the RAVE for details, its not too bad by itself.

you can open the inspection plate and look for broken/chipped gears

What would cause only the normal gears to be stripped while the locked gears work fine. Is that from improper shifting or what?
