I’m changing out the plugs on my ‘97 SD and the previous owner used Bosch Double Platinums that are now very warn. I’m replacing them with Champion Copper Plus plugs (322 RN11YC4)
However, I have two different sets of 4. One newer, the other from who knows how long ago. The newer plugs (brown box) have a slightly more withdrawn center electrode than the old ones do (red box). Would these slight differences harm the engine, even if they’re gapped the same?
NOTE: I’m not interested in running anything other than copper plugs.
