Death Rattle
I still say Death Rattle.. There was no wobble to it... It was trying to shake itself apart.. And damn near succeded...
I'll be doing lots of things over time.. Wheel bearings, Shocks, Kevlar plates in the doors, Etc....Gotta get ready for the Zombie Invasion...
Just trying to get it safe enough to drive around town...And over things.. I like to run over things....Gotta shop for a big brush guard for the front. You know.. To send those big orange barrells flying...And police cars.. I like to sneak up on a parked police car and leave a little rash......
Yes, Spike, The horn does work....

I had the same issue, felt like it was shaking itself to pieces, I replaced the panhard rod bushes, although I still get the death rattle it's quite rare now so I suspect the cause is general bush wear throughout, wheel balance helped too, mine was triggered by hitting bumps or holes in the road at certain speeds and the only solution is to accelerate through it, hope this helps
For me it was tie rod ends, plus a sticking caliper, came on strong on sharp turns exiting expressway on to ramps. Had to carry a case of Depends.
But as many point out, it can be several things, plus a "trigger" to start the oscillation.
