Default Death Wobble no more

Couple weeks ago I was pulling into town and doing about 40mph when all of a sudden the steering wheel starts shaking. I immediately pull over and check my tires. All good, I get back on the road and no issues. I thought it was just a rough patch of road. Little while later, like 80 miles or so, driving at about 65mph and again, steering wheel starts shaking like mad. And at that point I knew... Death Wobble Cometh. Get home, have my wife turn the steering wheel while I look underneath and sure enough the pan hard bar bushings were shot. We were leaving to go to Big Bend National Park in a week so I ordered two sets of bushing from two different places hoping at least on set would show up in time to replace the worn ones.

Well, both sets showed up the same day and I had plenty of time to swap them but I found the drivers side bolt was worn from the sleeve rubbing against it. I got new 9/16" bolts but both sets of new bushing, the sleeves were too large an Inner Diameter . The old sleeves were 9/16" ID and fit the new (and old) bolts like a glove. The factory bolts are 9/16" and I didn't want to drill the mounting holes larger to accommodate the new bushing sleeves as I thought could be a PITA later no having the standard size. I didn't take a pic of the old sleeve with the new bolts but you can see in the pics the old bolt with both new sleeves. I ended up using the BritPart bushings with my old sleeves. The old sleeves fit the Britpart bushings but were too large OD to fit the AB poly bushings.

We made our trip to BBNP and drove 1400 wobble free miles.

camera angle makes this look worse than it really is but still pretty loose.

I'm a 5 month newb to the Jeep Family and enjoy TrailBuilt Off Road. I just dropped my Jeep off at my local Jeep only Team today (NOT a dealership 3/25/24) to go through all the Suspension components all the way around. This (vid) solidifies my goal to make it as safe as possible to drive. I did a 6 hour trip on I95 here in South Florida.
