Need some quick advice regarding final installation of the gearbox. Have it bolted tight to the frame and I have the hoses properly attached. Now I just need to recollect the tire rod end to the control arm. If I'm not mistaken I have to remove the large nut on the arm in order to adjust the arm in the correct position above the tire rod end? As of now the nut is stuck on there tight. Tried using hammer, turbo torch and penetrating oil but still no luck. Been working with a 1 5/16 wrench but part of the handle has broken off so leverage is limited. I had little trouble removing the nut on my original gearbox but this one is stubborn. Any ideas? Also is there any other way to adjust the arm without removing the nut?
