This has been an on and off issue.

Battery is charged, Starter has just been replaced and is fine, I can hear whatever relays click when key is turned but starter does not engage.

For the past few days if I open and then close the driver door several times the car will then start so I'm assuming something is loose or there is a bad switch.

The alarm operates fine as far as I can tell.

Any direction or insight would be great as I'm stuck in my work parking lot. Exactly the last place I want to be.

 

Confirming that alarm is not armed and alarm led is not lit with key in ignition.

 

Confirming that I have officially used this forum as a sounding board to think out loud and solve my own issue.

spade connection on starter solenoid was loose.
