Default Discovery 1 recurring electric fault

My 96 Discovery 1 has spat the dummy with the recurring problem of motor cut-out. Again, on a very hot day, it stopped with no coil voltage. After 25 minutes of cooling, it started. This pattern has repeated over the week, but now has also failed with no voltage to the fuel pump. I replaced the Fuel Pump Relay (K119), which is receiving 12volts on relay terminal 30 (PW) wire from Fuse 6, but there is no voltage on terminals 86 and 85, the latter supplies the ECU (Z132). The odd thing is, there is voltage at Fuse 3, but the connecting WG wire section to connector C216 has no voltage. I recleaned and secured the earth fixture at the rear of the engine. The Spider Security is removed and replaced with a Uniden Security system, but the isolation white wire is not connected, leaving only the hob, door and lights active. I’m at a loss and would appreciate some input. Many thanks in advance. Regards, Tony G, Christchurch
