Door locks dont work .

Default Door locks dont work .

They seem to have giving up and have to manually open , i read up about this and got the springs for the locks off ebay but cant get the mechanism out .
Has anyone done this and documented this with pics ??

The free RAVE download has the complete shop manuals, including Body and interior, which details how to remove this stuff. Would advise purchase of some plastic upholstery removal tools, door panels come off very gently or you rip fastener out of the the mounting location, also has electrical manual that shows the map to everything, conector locations, pin-outs, etc.

While you have it open look at the plastic rollers on the window regulators, if cracked go ahead and replace with metal or teflon. LRD2&ME on this forum has sold hundreds of metal ones.

just a quick question, did you by any chance happen to do the snap in window rollers before this occured?

I did mine in the front and rear gate and it took me a while. It'll come out, there wasn't much of a technique, just alot of patience...
